VICTORY MEDIA S.A. was founded in its current legal form in 2002 with a purpose to producing and distributing DVDs and music CDs, capturing great moments in sports, music and cinema, in Greece and abroad. More specifically, the company produces and trades audiovisual products mainly for the large athletic events that it represents (IOC, IPC, UEFA, FIBA, FIFA, etc.), but also for historical, cultural and social events that have left their mark on Greece and the world.

The company vigorously pursues direct selling activities collaborating with the largest publishing houses (Premium CD & DVD) and distributing its products via its web site’s e-shop.

With the primary aim of designing and producing high quality, innovative publications, VICTORY MEDIA S.A. has invested in a series of new products aimed at achieving its strategic goal of becoming the leader in the sports and documentary DVD market.

In this context, VICTORY MEDIA S.A., in collaboration with the IOC and IPC, undertook the publication and release of the official DVDs of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and Athens 2004 Paralympic Games in 2 elegant cases, each containing four DVDs highlighting the most significant moments of the Games, the Greek athletes’ greatest moments and, of course, the opening and closing ceremonies that marked that glorious celebration.

In addition to the significant and extremely successful release of the official DVDs of the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, VICTORY MEDIA S.A. was granted permission by FIBA to release the official DVDs of Eurobasket 2005, which took place in Belgrade and was won by the Greek National Team.

It should be noted that VICTORY MEDIA S.A. is the exclusive distributor of the official Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games and Eurobasket 2005 DVDs in Greece and Cyprus.

Apart from important international events, however, VICTORY MEDIA S.A. has also acquired the rights to release and handle DVDs for the Olympiakos and Larisa football teams, as well as the Aris Thessaloniki basketball team. In 2006, VICTORY MEDIA S.A. also released “The History of the World Cup” in a Box Set of 6 DVDs and the vital Super Stars series (SuperStars 1-3 with 6 DVDs per series) honouring the biggest names in the history of world football.
